Hope for the Holidays

For the past few years, The Sanctuary and Naperville Christian Church have partnered to sponsor a Fair Trade Christmas Bazaar open to the public. Our particular non-profit sale seeks to increase income for artisans in developing nations so they can provide hope for their families and communities. Last year’s sale brought in the equivalent of a year’s income for over 5 families.

…by feeding the hungry.

Feed My Starving Children

Just when you think feeding a hungry child across the globe is too distant and abstract, just 20 minutes away this desire can be a reality. One of four national packing sites for Feed My Starving Children offers volunteer slots for groups to come in and pack meals for children across the globe. Many families and ministries at our church have taken advantage of this opportunity to love globally right from where we are.

…by remembering the forgotten.

Compassion International

Another meaningful avenue for God’s loving kindness in sponsoring a child through Compassion International. Not only does this investment provide for a child’s basic needs and education where they are at but also provides a wonderful relationship through emails and correspondence with your “adopted” child.
