Reaching our community and world

Reach Local

Reach Ministries is where we work toward wholeness and loving kindness in our greater community.

By partnering with ministries such as the Bolingbrook Christian Health Center, Groundwork Domestic Violence Shelter, World Relief Refugee Services and others, we strive to learn, love and live out the heart of God right in our own backyard.

Within our church community, Reach Local organizes opportunities to open our doors to the public through events like Biker Sunday and Hope for the Holidays.

We welcome you to join us for our monthly meetings or at one of our quarterly opportunities as we yearn to change and be changed, to bless and be blessed.

Reach Global

The Bible calls us to “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” (Mark 16:15)

The goal of Reach Global is to help our church body develop an active passion for reaching people with God’s redeeming love. At the Sanctuary, we desire to reach across cultural boundaries, both locally and globally, to demonstrate the Lordship and love of Jesus Christ to all people.

The Sanctuary has a strong commitment to making sure people of all lands can hear the good news of Jesus Christ!

We want to see the people of our church develop an active passion for people that do not yet know the love of Jesus and to reach across cultural boundaries to demonstrate that love to all people. Our desire is to build long-term, close working relationships with those we support. We want to build missions partnerships that last years, span decades, and even encompass entire careers. We have chosen to partner with a smaller number of people and organizations, but to serve them faithfully through prayer, personal encouragement, and financial giving.

Because we serve our partners faithfully through prayer, personal encouragement, and financial giving, there are many ways our church body can get involved. We encourage members of the church to serve together as families in short-term missions’ projects. Participants have ranged in age from toddlers to those in their “golden years”.
