Hope for the Holidays, our annual fair trade holiday bazaar is coming 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 7 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 8! Make plans to shop with a purpose when you give a gift that gives twice! Proceeds from the event go to help artisan families living in third world countries and disadvantaged workers right here in Chicagoland. For many people, Christmas is the most anticipated day of the year. It’s an exciting time to gather with family and friends, exchange gifts and celebrate the season. But what if the joy, love, peace and hope you experience at Christmas could last everyday? What if Christmas wasn’t just a day, but a way to live? Find out this December how the birth of Christ give us the gift of a Living Christmas all year long. Join us for Christmas music and a relevant Biblical message on Dec. 9 & 16 at 9:30 or 11 a.m.

Plan to arrive early or stay after service on Sunday for a family photo in the lobby. A Sanctuary photographer will take photos for you!

Make sure to invite your family and friends to our special Eve of Christmas Eve services on Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. Invitations are available at the Info Table. Please bring a plate of cookies to share.

We plan to continue the multisite conversation with another Family Chat gathering at 7 p.m. Dec. 12. Some of the elders will be sharing their perspectives on the journey this far, and you will be given an opportunity to ask questions to the staff and elders.

We would like to set aside time every Sunday between services and Tuesdays at 6 a.m. to pray as a body for the next steps for our church. Please make this a priority and join us in the hallway outside the office for weekly prayer.

If you are looking for an easy and meaningful way to serve in our community, sign up to partner with Morningstar Mission. We have the opportunity to help serve dinner to those without homes 3:45 to 6 p.m. Dec. 7 and 15. There is room for seven volunteers on each date.

Men, come for breakfast and stay to build relationships with God and others. Meet at Eggs, Inc. in Bolingbrook at 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Saturday.

Our junior high and high school ministries meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.

Students, don’t miss Winter X-Treme 2019 at Camp Timber-Lee in East Troy, Wisconsin. Junior High students will be going Jan. 11-13. High School students will be going Jan. 25-27. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due Dec. 10.
