How big is God? That question alone can feel mind boggling. Just trying to imagine how big is the God of the universe can seem like it’s beyond our ability to comprehend. But living a life of radical obedience and courage depends on understanding the incredible greatness of our God. Is he bigger than our problems? Is he bigger than the corruption in our world? Our ability to think about his abundance must continually increase as we experience and know more of Jesus. Are you ready to try to grasp his mass and might and power? Don’t miss our new sermon series, “BIG,” beginning Sunday.

ALPHA TRAINING
Have you ever wanted to gather a few people to discuss Christianity, but didn’t know where to start? Have you ever wanted to explore different ways people talk about Christianity? Alpha could be a great starting point! Join others from The Sanctuary for Alpha Chicago Training at Community Christian Church in Naperville on Aug. 6. You’ll learn how to lead or be part of an Alpha group, which uses small group sessions to explore the Christian faith through videos and discussion questions. Contact [email protected] by July 30 for information on how to have your registration covered for this event.

TOOLS FOR SCHOOL
It’s that time of year again when school supplies start filling the shelves, and we begin to think of how to best prepare for another year of growth and learning. But for some in our community, buying school supplies can be a stress and financial burden. Because of this, we have been teaming up with the DuPage Township each year in their Tools for Schools drive. To take part, start looking for those sales on school supplies and bring your donations to church by August 1. Then, plan to join us Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. for a fun, high-energy packing night at The Sanctuary.

SCHOOL PRAY
You are invited to gather at Humphrey Middle School in Bolingbrook for prayer Sunday after second service. Before heading out to Humphrey, we will meet in the Green Room to share refreshments and to learn about what prayer is and how God uses it. It is not only going to be an amazing opportunity to be active in the community, but is also a way to create spiritual memories for your entire family.

LUNCH WITH THE PASTORS
If you are new to The Sanctuary, make plans to join us for Lunch with the Pastors right after second service on August 28. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our mission and vision, get to know Pastor Ronn and Pastor John and, of course, enjoy lunch together. Childcare will be provided. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Ladies, please plan on attending a summer weekly Bible Study, where a new topic will be discussed each week. Come as often as you can from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Fridays to Emily Sault’s house at 941 Canyon Run Rd., Naperville. Childcare will be provided for a nominal fee. JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL
Thrive and Crossfire, our junior high and high school ministries, meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.

Help us celebrate our graduating seniors at a special youth group night Aug. 1. The whole church body is invited to join us at Crossfire, starting at 7 p.m. We will honor the seniors and encourage them in what God has done and will do in their lives. Enjoy a festive atmosphere and refreshments while sending off the seniors on their next big adventure!
