Share the joy of Christmas by donating gifts to the Bolingbrook Christian Health Center. Items are needed for ages 1 to 18 and will be collected at the Info Table. Specific needs include: jeans, gym shoes, coats, soccer balls, wallets, hoodies, makeup kits, cologne, bedding and Disney Princess items. Gifts will be distributed today from 4:30 to 8 p.m. as we join Gente Unida and The Compass Church in hosting “Jesus, Light of the World,” a bilingual service, dinner and a gift mart for those in need in our community, as well as a craft and game time for kids.
DECEMBER UPDATE
We are so thankful for all God has done in our church this past year! Please check your mailbox for a letter detailing the 2016 ministry year, as well as a financial update. We want to ask you to prayerfully consider an end-of-year gift to help make a $100,000 giving goal in December. This would help the church make up a $33,000 budgetary shortfall, as well as our $64,000 monthly budget.
CHRISTMAS SERVICES
Come celebrate Christmas at our “Eve of Christmas Eve” service, 6:30 and 8 p.m. Dec. 23. Invite your friends for a relevant Biblical message and Christmas music. Childcare will be available for birth to preschool. Please bring a plate of cookies if you are able. We will worship at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Christmas Day.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about our mission and vision, get to know Pastor Ronn and Pastor John and, of course, enjoy lunch together. Childcare will be provided. FIGHT CLUB
Men of The Sanctuary meet Saturday mornings for breakfast, Bible study, discussion and accountability. They also meet one Friday a month for Friday Night Fights, an evening gathering with guy food and guy talk on relevant topics. The next Fight Club is 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Saturday in the Community Room. Friday Night Fights is at 7 p.m. Dec. 16.
NEW YEAR’S SERVICE
Start the new year with us on Jan. 1 as we come together at one service to dedicate 2017 to the Lord! Service will be at 10 a.m. with childcare from birth to preschool.
END OF YEAR GIVING
Dec. 25 is our last Sunday morning service in the calendar year. If you would like to check your giving status for the year, you can do that through our member web site at http://thesanctuarychurch.ccbchurch.com. If you plan to make an end-of-year gift, the office will be open until 2 p.m. Dec. 30. You can give online through our web site or app until Dec. 31. Thank you for your generosity!
JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL
Student Life is throwing a Christmas party Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy student-led worship, snacks and games! Please bring a white elephant gift to exchange. Student Life will not meet Dec. 19 through Jan. 2.
