Grand Opening services on Sunday!
The Sanctuary Church will be opening its doors to the community on Sunday for the church’s Grand Opening services at its new facility in Romeoville.
The Sanctuary renovated 25,000 square feet of office space at 1251 Windham Parkway, just off Weber Road near Life Time Fitness. The church transformed the empty office building into a vibrant church facility with a 420-seat auditorium, a large lobby area, a wing for kids’ classrooms, offices and a community room.
The community is invited for an engaging Biblical message, a high-energy kids’ program and great music in a casual atmosphere at both the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services on Sundays. In the future, the church hopes to open its doors to local residents for concerts, classes and teen events.
The Sanctuary recently moved to Romeoville after meeting at Bolingbrook High School for the last seven years. The church was attracted to the facility because of its fantastic location near I-55 and Weber Road.
“We can’t wait to open our doors to the people in Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Plainfield, Naperville and other communities as a place to worship God together,” said Lead Pastor Ronn Smith. “As our name suggests, we want to be a refuge for those who are seeking community and looking to grow in their faith in God.”
The church’s vision is to help families leave safety for adventure, leave isolation for community, leave complacency for commitment and leave comfort for compassion as they take the next step in their faith journey.
