What is Kid Life: 4th and 5th?
The 4th and 5th grade ministry at The Sanctuary serves as a bridge between a child’s elementary school and junior high experiences. Our hope is that this class will engage our 4th and 5th graders at their unique developmental level.
What we do
We want our 4th and 5th graders to experience the Bible at a deeper level and to know how to use it on an everyday basis! They are taught age-appropriate lessons from the Bible presented in a relevant way and how to apply what they learn to the events in their lives. They are challenged to find answers on their own, to journal their thoughts about God or questions they have and to participate in group discussions about the Bible. Energetic interactive games, dramas, Bible study, and more make Sunday mornings something to look forward to. Kid Life: 4th and 5th re-mixes every Sunday so that each week is new, fresh, and fun!
Fun and interactive events are planned throughout the year. These activities help our tween kids to form friendships with each other and allow them to bond as a group. Our ultimate goal, however, is to help them grow closer to Jesus Christ!
