What is Project 3:18?
1 John 3:18 says “Let us not love with words or tongue but with action and in truth.” The purpose of this ministry is to demonstrate God’s love through utilizing the gifts and resources God has provided the church community to perform residential maintenance and repair for those in need and, where possible, provide education of construction principals and methods with the ultimate goal of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through action and outreach.
What We Do:
The types of work performed involve minor general maintenance and repair such as roof patching, painting, light fixture replacement, pipe leak repair, changing faucets, drywall, water heater replacement, minor HVAC services, replacing rotted wood, etc.

Get Involved
Project 3:18 needs people with any skill level in any area or trade. If you know how to paint, we need you. If you can change a faucet, we need you. If you know how to trim bushes, we need you. If you can swing a hammer, we need you. If you want to learn various home repairs and can act as a helper/apprentice, we need you. If you are a Journeyman level tradesmen, we definitely need you.
There are 3 categories of persons we are seeking;
- The Journeyman: someone that has a high level of knowledge in a trade and can perform repairs in a specific category(s) independently and act as a team leader.
- The Intermediate level: The Weekend Warrior (Tim the Tool-Man Taylor type). This is a person that has experience performing home repairs independently or with minimal oversight and would have the ability to take on a leadership role of some projects depending on comfort level.
- The Basic level/Apprentice: Can perform work under the direction of a more experienced person. If you would like to participate at a basic level or be involved in some projects to learn more – this is for you.
