SENT, our new sermon series, starts Sunday
We all want to live a life full of meaning and significance. But with all of life’s demands, responsibilities and unexpected twists, it’s easy to find yourself drifting in the current rather than plotting your course. God has called us to something better. He has called each of us to step out of the daily drift and take purposeful steps to impact your life and others. Are you ready to accept that challenge? Are you ready to be “Sent”? Join us Sunday as we kick off “Sent,” a nine-week series that could change the course and direction of your life!
TANGIBLE KINGDOM
Our new sermon series, “Sent” was inspired by the Bible study, The Tangible Kingdom. This study is a follow-up to The Gospel Primer, which our growth groups studied last fall. If you are looking for an incredible study that will challenge you daily in your call to live life on mission, pick up a copy of the The Tangible Kingdom at the Info Table. (There is a suggested donation of $14 for the book.)
COMPASSION SUNDAY
During our April 24 service, we will include information on how you can help a child living in poverty in a third world country. Please be in prayer this week about possibly sponsoring a child through Compassion International. We will have a short presentation during both the 9:30 and 11 a.m. service as we join hundreds of other churches celebrating Compassion Sunday.
WAR ROOM STUDY AND MOVIE
Would you like to learn more about the power of prayer in your life? Consider joining The War Room Bible study during the 9:30 a.m. service, beginning May 1. The study will kick off with a movie night, featuring The War Room, on April 30. The five-week study will feature clips from the movie and five challenging scriptural lessons adapted from the feature film. The movie and study explores the power that prayer can have on marriages, parenting, careers, friendships and other areas of life. Sign up at the Info Table to attend the study. All are welcome to the movie night.
BIKER SUNDAY
We are so excited to be hosting our sixth annual Biker Sunday May 15 after the 11 a.m. service. This is a fabulous morning to invite friends to ride their motorcycles to church. Pastor Ronn will pray a blessing over our guests after the service, and we will host a free lunch and activities beginning at 12:15. More details will be coming soon!
BIKER SUNDAY T-SHIRTS
Want to dress in style on Biker Sunday? Order your official Biker Sunday t-shirts! These black cotton t-shirts are available in youth and adult sizes for $10 each. They feature a large Biker Sunday logo on the back and a smaller logo on the front with our church name. Please order your shirt using the tear-off section in The Slice or the Connection Card on the app. Shirts will be available for pick-up and payment May 8 or 15.
LUNCH WITH THE PASTORS
If you are new to The Sanctuary, make plans to join us for Lunch with the Pastors right after second service on May 1. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our mission and vision, get to know Pastor Ronn and Pastor John and, of course, enjoy lunch together. Childcare will be provided. Sign up at the Info Table if you plan to attend.
