Would you like to learn more about the power of prayer in your life? Consider joining The War Room Bible study during the 9:30 a.m. service, beginning Sunday. The study will kick off with a movie night, featuring The War Room, at 6 p.m. Saturday. The five-week study will incorporate clips from the movie and five challenging scriptural lessons adapted from the film. The movie and study explores the power that prayer can have on marriages, parenting, careers, friendships and other areas of life. We hope you will join us for this life-changing study!

LUNCH WITH THE PASTORS

If you are new to The Sanctuary, make plans to join us for Lunch with the Pastors right after second service on Sunday. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our mission and vision, get to know Pastor Ronn and Pastor John and, of course, enjoy lunch together. Childcare will be provided. Sign up at the Info Table if you plan to attend.

BENEVOLENCE OFFERING

We will be taking a benevolence offering at the end of service Sunday. This is a special offering that goes directly to help those in our church body who have a financial need. Please look for the ushers as you leave the auditorium.

TANGIBLE KINGDOM

Our new sermon series, “Sent” was inspired by the Bible study, The Tangible Kingdom. This study is a follow-up to The Gospel Primer, which our growth groups studied last fall. If you are looking for an incredible study that will challenge you daily in your call to live life on mission, pick up a copy of the The Tangible Kingdom at the Info Table. (There is a suggested donation of $14 for the book.)

COMPASSION SUNDAY

Thank you to everyone who responded to the call to sponsor a child through Compassion International last Sunday! Eighteen children living in poverty received new sponsors. If God has been tugging at your heart since Sunday or you did not have the opportunity to sponsor a child last week, there will be sponsorship packets available again this Sunday at the Info Table. Stop by and see how you can change a child’s life!

SURGE

Join us May 11 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to participate in the last SURGE of the school year! Bring your whole family for a time of worship and spiritual growth. You also will hear ministry updates and testimony.

BIKER SUNDAY

We are so excited to be hosting our sixth annual Biker Sunday May 15 after the 11 a.m. service. This is a fabulous morning to invite friends to ride their motorcycles to church. Pastor Ronn will pray a blessing over our guests after the service, and we will host a free lunch and activities beginning at 12:15. More details will be coming soon!

FIGHT CLUB

Some of the most noted, celebrated and godly men in the Bible made some very big mistakes when it came to raising their children.  Bad Dads of the Bible examines these mistakes and gives today’s dads much needed advice on how to avoid them, or repair damage that might already have been done. Between teaching and group discussion, men will tackle this topic together in the next four sessions. Fight Club meets every other Saturday at 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. The next Fight Club is April 30.

Parents, save the date! The Sanctuary will be offering vacation Bible school to kids in preschool through fifth grade this summer. The camp will be 9 a.m. to Noon July 11-15. We will be announcing all of the details in the next few weeks!

JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL

Thrive and Crossfire, our junior high and high school ministries, meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.

YOUTH LOCK-IN

Students, you don’t want to miss the Youth Lock-in coming up Friday! Invite a friend for a fun and crazy 24 hours that will include worship, a devotional, food, games, prizes and a great time hanging out with friends! The Lock-in begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening and ends at 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

YOUNG ADULTS
