Don’t miss this week’s events
Join us Sunday as we continue our sermon series, “At the Movies.” This week we will be learning important Biblical truths about the power of prayer in our lives! We also want to encourage you to use this as an opportunity to get to know your neighbors. Host a movie night the week before each message to watch the film we’ll be referencing at church. Then, invite them back to The Sanctuary for that week’s message! Here’s the line-up:
July 10: The War Room
July 17: McFarland USA
MEMBERSHIP AT THE SANCTUARY
Are you are interested in taking the next step in your commitment at The Sanctuary? Then plan on attending a Membership Class right after second service July 17. If after attending the class you decide you want to become a member, you need to fill out and submit the application provided at the Info Table and an elder will contact you to set up a time for discussing your personal testimony. Please sign up at the Info Table to attend the class. Lunch will be provided. New members will be welcomed at our Annual Meeting in September.
SEMINAR: THE GOSPEL AND THE MISSIONAL MINDSET
What is the good news? What does it mean to share the gospel? What does it look like to be missional right where I am? What are some next steps for me as I think through being sent? If any of these are questions you have asked, join us July 11 at 7 p.m. at the church office as we together learn practical steps on how to live our lives missionally. For more information, contact Cheryl Lynn Cain at [email protected].
SCHOOL PRAY
On Sunday, families at The Sanctuary have an opportunity to be active in the community and make spiritual memories by participating in School Pray at Jane Addams Middle School, 905 Lily Cache Lane, Bolingbrook. Before heading out to the school, please meet in the Green Room at 12:30 p.m. to share refreshments, and to learn about what prayer is and how God uses it. We look forward to seeing you there!
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Ladies, please plan on attending a summer weekly Bible Study, where a new topic will be discussed each week. Come as often as you can from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Fridays to Emily Sault’s house at 941 Canyon Run Rd., Naperville. Childcare will be provided for a nominal fee. For more information and to sign up, please email [email protected] or call 630-209-4915.

NOW SERVING FAIR TRADE COFFEE
“Every once in awhile God gives us something big to do, but every day he gives us something small to do. Those small things make a difference.” – Jonathan D. Golden
We are now partnering with Land of a Thousand Hills to serve fair trade coffee on Sunday mornings. Through direct relationships, fair wages and community investment, Land of a Thousand Hills works closely with Rwandan coffee farming villages, building relationships and helping them to have a better life.
