EASTER SERVICES
In this broken world, life can feel like a dark and dismal place. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Two thousand years ago, Jesus gave his life to give us hope. His death and resurrection assured us that life can be full of meaning and purpose. Join us Easter Sunday as we look back at one of the greatest days in history and how Jesus transforms lives even today. Come celebrate with us as we unpack this timeless Biblical message that gives us a fresh start at life. Also, join us on Good Friday, 7 p.m. April 14, to experience the final days of Christ through music, dramatic reading and scripture.

BAPTISM
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and you would like to be baptized, plan to participate in one of our regular morning worship services at 9:30 and 11 a.m. April 30. HELPING WITHOUT HURTING
A new adult elective will look at ways to come alongside people living in material poverty in a Christ-honoring way.  If you are interested in serving on a short-term missions trip, or simply want to become more familiar with how you can help people without hurting them, this class is strongly recommended. It has radically changed how churches across North America approach outreach and missions. The five-week class will be starting April 30 during the 9:30 a.m. service in the Community Room. CREATION: A PERSPECTIVE
The Sanctuary’s Statement of Faith affirms that God is the Creator of all things, but leaves room for various perspectives on the creation account in the book of Genesis. One perspective is the Seven Day Literal interpretation. This perspective will be presented during a five-week elective on Wednesday evenings, starting at 7 p.m. April 19 in the Community Room. We will hear via DVD from various creation scientists about evidence for a literal interpretation of the Genesis creation account as opposed to the theory of evolution, and have an opportunity to discuss what we hear. CHILD DEDICATION
We will have a child dedication during the worship services on May 14. There will be a Child Dedication class during first service Sunday from 9:30 to 10:35 a.m. in the Community room for anyone interested in finding out more about child dedications and having your child dedicated now or in the future. The class will explore the basis for dedicating our children to the Lord and will provide biblical encouragement to parents for raising your children to know and follow Christ. If you would like to have your child dedicated to the Lord or want to attend the class, sign up at the Info Table.

VBS
Kids can dive deep into the account of Noah and the flood at this year’s Vacation Bible School! Save the date for July 31 to Aug. 4 when kids will learn to apply spiritual lessons from Noah’s life, and uncover lots of earthly lessons along the way as they learn about the great flood from the book of Genesis! Sign ups will be coming soon for this week of fun and adventure! VBS will meet from 9 a.m. to Noon.

FIGHT CLUB
Men of The Sanctuary meet every other Saturday from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. in the Community Room for breakfast, Bible study, discussion and accountability. The next Fight Club is April 15. Contact Bryan Buckley, [email protected].

SERVING OPPORTUNITY
If you are looking for an easy and meaningful way to serve in our community, sign up to partner with Morningstar Mission. We have the opportunity to help serve dinner to those without homes on April 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. Sign up at the Info Table.

Wondering how our building looks so good week after week? We have a dedicated crew of volunteers that prepares our building for worship. The team is looking to grow its volunteer base. JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL
Our junior high and high school ministries meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.

YOUNG ADULTS
