My Secret: Truths from closing moment
As we closed out the “My Secret” series the past few weeks, we asked those at our service to write down the “secret” parts of their lives they were choosing to give up to God. People wrote their confessions on pieces of cardboard and then left them in a symbolic act showing they would no longer be identified by the sins of their past. They surrendered their secrets to God.
Last week, we paraphrased those secrets and rewrote them on pieces of cardboard that were part of the closing moments of the service. As we displayed each “secret,” we then showed God’s truth about that situation.
These are the “cardboard confessions” that were shown during service, as well as the words of truth from the Bible that apply to each situation.
