Come hear about our vision for the coming year, ministry updates and a review of 2017 at our Annual Meeting at 6 p.m. Sunday. Members will vote to approve the budget for the new fiscal year, elder positions and new members. While only members can vote, we encourage all attenders of The Sanctuary to attend this meeting to stay up-to-date about plans for 2018! Childcare will be available for birth to preschool.

TOGETHER PROGRESSIVE DINNER
Since we moved into our facility four years ago, The Sanctuary Church has grown in numbers, but also expanded in ages, stage of life and diversity. It is our hope that during the next two years our entire church will come “Together” around a common vision. We want to go deeper in our walk with Christ and one another, grow wider in our relationships and reach farther into the community and world. Find out more at a special progressive dinner at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 21. Adults will enjoy appetizers, drinks, dinner and dessert in different rooms of our facility as leaders explain what’s ahead. We will have childcare available for the first 30 children to RSVP, with cheese pizza for their dinner.

Take a break from lunch or dinner prep on Sunday and support our missions team by eating at the Romeoville Culver’s! A portion of the sale goes back to the missions team.

BREAKING DOWN WALLS: HOMELESS NOT HELPLESS
SEPT. 30: Bring the family at 7 p.m. as we break down the misconceptions of homelessness in Will County. Those attending will assemble care packages to give to people without homes and learn how to come alongside organizations in the area to help.

MORNINGSTAR MISSION
If you are looking for an easy and meaningful way to serve in our community, sign up to partner with Morningstar Mission. We have the opportunity to help serve dinner to those without homes 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 14.

FUSION
Come find out what makes The Sanctuary unique. You will learn about the DNA of our church during this four-week group that meets at 11 a.m. Sundays starting Oct. 1. Get to know others who are new to The Sanctuary, meet ministry leaders and find out how to take the next step to get involved.

THE FIGHT CLUB
This fall, men will dive into a study, called, “Play the Man.” Somewhere along the way, our culture lost its definition of manhood, leaving generations of men and men-to-be confused about their roles, responsibilities, relationships, and the reason God made them men. The Fight Club meets 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Sept. 23; Oct. 7, 21; Nov. 4, 18; Dec. 2, 16.

SURGE
Are you longing to connect with God through a time of deep worship and prayer? Join us the first Wednesday of each month at Surge, which is an extended worship service designed to help us step out of the busy pace of life and Revive, Regroup and Recharge. The next Surge is Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. We will have childcare for birth to fifth grade.

JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL
Our junior high and high school ministries meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.

Students, pack a lunch and come dressed for Turkey Bowl practice from 12:30-3 p.m. Sundays at Freedom Park, 1600 Park Place in Bolingbrook! Don’t want to play? Come anyway and watch! Everyone is welcome.

Parents, plan to attend one of the short meetings scheduled after both first and second services to hear about plans for our junior high and high school students during the upcoming school year. This 20 minute meeting will be held in the church office Oct. 1.

YOUNG ADULTS
Our college and young adult group meets in the Community Room Sunday nights from 7 to 8:30 p.m. (with the exception of the last Sunday of the month). New people are always welcome! Contact Rebecca at 815.980.0127 with questions.
