Three groups from The Sanctuary will be headed out to serve in different parts of the world in the next two weeks. Please take some time to pray for each team as they do the work God has prepared for them. The Nicaragua team is leaving Friday. The Uganda team will be serving July 20-31 and the Youth trip to Good Works in Athens, Ohio will be gone July 23-30. Pick up a prayer sheet from the Info Table on Sunday for more specific areas in which to pray for each group.

There are several opportunities in the next few months to support our short term missions teams. Check out the different ways you can participate:

PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT
Drop off your children for dinner and activities and enjoy a date night! Babysitting will be provided at The Sanctuary Saturday from 6-8:30 p.m. Cost is $20 for the first child or $30 for more than one child in a family. Please RSVP here if you plan to attend. Additional dates offered are Aug. 19 and Sept. 16.

ROLLER RINK FUNDRAISER
Bring the whole family to Family Fun Zone Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. for skating, games and prizes! Hosted by the Good Works missions team, funds raised will go to support their trip. Tickets are $10 including skate rental and can be purchased at the door on the day of the event. Invite your family, friends and neighbors!

MEMBERSHIP AT THE SANCTUARY
Are you interested in taking the next step in your commitment at The Sanctuary? Then plan on attending a Membership Class right after the second service July 16. If after attending the class you decide you want to become a member, you need to fill out and submit the application provided at the Info Table and an elder will contact you to set up a time for discussing your personal testimony. Please sign up at the Info Table to attend the class. Lunch will be provided. New members will be welcomed at our Annual Meeting in September.

VBS
Kids ages 4-10 are invited to an exciting week of Vacation Bible School July 31 to Aug. 4! At Ocean Commotion, kids will dive deep into the account of Noah and the Flood from the book of Genesis! They’ll learn to apply the spiritual lessons from Noah’s life to their own. And, along the way, they’ll get to dig into the science behind the Flood through exciting science experiments! Each day will include crafts, games, music, snacks and fun with friends. Cost is $15, which includes a t-shirt. Please register by July 17: cometothesanctuary.org/vbs.

THE SANCTUARY HAS ADOPTED!
We’re excited to take the next step in coming alongside students in our community by joining christian organization Kids Hope USA to adopt Irene King Elementary School in the Valley View School District. If you have been looking for a way to be more intentional with your daytime hours in this season of life or are interested in donating school supplies this year, sign up to attend an informational meeting Aug. 20 after second service and check out our Target registry (under Irene King) to find ways you can help shower our school. WOMEN’S LINK
Ladies, mark your calendars for 7 to 10 p.m. July 18 to attend Women’s Link Game Night in the Community Room! Bring your favorite board games and get ready to go deeper as you grow connections with other women. Sign up online or at the Info Table. MORNINGSTAR MISSION
If you are looking for an easy and meaningful way to serve in our community, sign up to partner with Morningstar Mission. We have the opportunity to help serve lunch to those without homes on Aug. 11 and Aug. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. Sign up at the Info Table.

JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL
Our junior high and high school ministries meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.

YOUNG ADULTS
