What is KidsTown?

Your kids will be begging you to bring them back to church next week after they experience KidsTown, the high-energy children’s ministry at The Sanctuary. We believe that life with Jesus is not just a stroll in the park — it’s the greatest journey of our lives! We are committed to nurturing, loving and guiding children as they begin their adventure with Jesus. Our goal is to challenge kids to become all that God wants them to be and help them have an awesome time doing it!

What we do

Have you jumped on board a train to the farm lately? We just did last week in Preschool Place! Don’t tell the kids it was really just some school chairs and insulating foam though!

Starting at our youngest ages, kids are learning through interactive teaching, skits, videos and games, as well as the relationships they develop with their teachers. KidsTown is WAY more than just “childcare” while parents are in service. And this is definitely not your mama’s Sunday School from back in the day!

We want kids to have FUN learning about living life with Jesus so the lessons we teach on Sunday morning will stick with them all week long — at school, at the dinner table, on the bus and playing with their friends. Our biggest hope is that we can help kids KNOW Jesus as their Savior, that we can guide them on a journey where they GROW to be more like Him, so that they SHOW His love to others by the way they live their lives.

Our teachers and leaders are committed not only to loving God whole-heartedly, but to loving the kids whole-heartedly, and helping them learn that life with God can be a BLAST!
