We would love to help you get connected at The Sanctuary. Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.
When are your services?
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m.
Where do you meet?
We meet in the Auditorium at Bolingbrook High School, which is located at 365 Raider Way in Bolingbrook. Bolingbrook High School is located at the corner of Schmidt Road and Lily Cache Lane.
What are the services like? What should I expect?
Our desire for our Sunday morning service is that people would have an opportunity to meet in fellowship, put aside the distractions of the week and focus their attention on God. We have contemporary and worshipful music. The teaching is from the Bible and applicable in our daily lives. We encourage you to come and enjoy a service with us. Also, please join us after service for some coffee and refreshments. Our hope is that you will feel welcome and at home with us.
How should I dress?
We are a very friendly and casual church. Come however you feel comfortable. We are not really concerned with what people wear; however, we are concerned with giving you the opportunity to worship God and hear what God says in the Bible.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself, and feel free to bring a Bible, note pad and pen. If you do not have a Bible, we have plenty for you to use.
Where do the kids go?
We have a great children’s ministry called KidsTown.
How do I learn more about the church?
We have several ways for you to learn more about The Sanctuary. You can always call us at the church office at (630) 759-7575. Or you can come to our next Dessert with the Pastor. It’s a chance to learn more about The Sanctuary in a casual, informal setting. If you’re interested, call, e-mail, or visit the Welcome table in the lobby on Sunday morning.
Also, we have a Membership class periodically. There’s no requirement to become a member, but it is a good place to hear what The Sanctuary is all about.
We look forward to getting to know you!
